Child Safety Standards
Gleam (operated by Yougleam) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain how we prevent, detect, report and respond to such content and conduct, in line with the Google Play Child Safety Standards Policy and applicable law.
1. Our standard against CSAE & CSAM
Any content, behaviour, or contact that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor is strictly prohibited on Gleam. This includes, without limitation:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form;
- Sexualization of minors, grooming, or solicitation of a minor;
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to arrange offline harm;
- Inappropriate or sexual contact with or about a minor.
Violations result in immediate, permanent removal of the account and the content, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
2. How we prevent it
- Minimum age 13. Gleam is not directed to children under 13. A date-of-birth check at sign-up enforces a 13+ requirement; accounts that do not meet it are blocked.
- No adult or sexual content allowed. Sexual content is prohibited by our Community Guidelines, regardless of the age of those involved.
- Moderation. Content can be reviewed and removed. Reported moments, profiles and private bond chats can be examined by our moderation team.
- Reserved & impersonation protections. Reserved usernames and an impersonation rule reduce abuse of identity.
3. In-app reporting
Every user can report child-safety concerns directly inside the app. On any moment or profile, open the ··· menu → Report, then choose a reason (Spam / Harassment / Inappropriate / Misinformation / Other). Reports are recorded and reviewed by our moderation team.

4. How we respond

We comply with all applicable child-safety laws and cooperate with regional and national authorities. We report CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
